- AmericaFree.tv is television for the people, by the people. It is democratic television broadcasted free across the Internet. Not democratic in the political sense, but democratic in the “everyone should get what they want” sense. It’s a living room you can share with your friends, wherever they may be — someplace to put your feet up and check out what’s on.
The airwaves are about to undergo a huge facelift. The difference between broadcast content and streaming content will disappear rapidly. And the way that we create and broadcast media is changing, it’s becoming easier and cheaper to make and distribute content. AmericaFree.tv is striving to work with and promote independent directors from around the world to provide a unique mix of new and old content.

- It’s pretty easy. Just choose the channel you’d like to watch, and pick your connection speed. Then, sit back and watch.
- WHY DOES MY SCREEN LOOK PIXELATED SOMETIMES?
- Bandwidth issues sometimes cause the video image to degrade. This is due to network traffic between our servers and your browser. The video will continue to stream, as opposed to other buffering methods that cause the video to stop. We feel that occasional slight, and temporary, video degradations create a better viewing experience than the stop-and-start that occurs with other methods. If this happens frequently, you do not have sufficient bandwidth to receive the channel you are watching. Try the next lowest bit rate.
